Scott Kind, President

Scott knows the industry and its people well.

 

He's worked in commercial building for nearly 20 years as a contractor, manufacturer, distributor, and now as an independent manufacturer's sales agent. Scott's understanding of these various roles combined with his vast product knowledge equip him to give stakeholders just what they need.

 

Scott genuinely enjoys working in this industry with its people. Whether he's interpreting the code and technical requirements, or assisting a contractor with an installation detail, Scott is consistently conversing with and supporting all members of the construction cycle. His passion and focus on relationship building have contributed greatly to his success in the industry.

 

Scott also enjoys hanging out with his family and friends, coaching and playing basketball, spending time outdoors, and being involved at his church.

Rick Powell, Business Manager/Partner

Rick is an experienced relationship builder in the commercial building industry. 

 

He's worked in commercial building for over 40 years with customers from all areas of the industry, including contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers and distributors.

 

Building and enhancing relationships with all stakeholders has been an important key to Rick's success in business. He genuinely enjoys the interaction with customers from all venues and continues this offering of expertise now with Spirit Sales Group.

 

Rick is married and enjoys spending time traveling and visiting with his children. He has a passion for camping, and also appreciates visiting national parks for their beauty and historical significance.

George Arnold, Sales Agent

George Arnold is a graduate of UNC Charlotte and started his business career at McEwen Lumber Company in High Point. He was then offered the opportunity to open the Carolinas territory for Hydrozo Coatings (now a part of BASF) and managed their Charlotte office for six years. In 1990, George purchased an existing manufacturer’s representative agency, and that firm is now known as Specified Materials.

Since 2001 George has partnered with other local Rep Agencies to provide building enclosure solutions more effectively throughout the Carolinas. Over the years George has provided numerous presentations, with a focus on Masonry, Waterproofing and Building Envelope Solutions, to Architectural and Engineering Firms and to Industry Associations.

​

George and his wife Laura are both natives of North Carolina and reside in High Point.

Tim Hannon, Sales Leader

Tim brings many years of professional experience in finance, trading, technology, customer service, and sales/sales management who is passionate about data-driven information, and hands-on approaches.  He is a team player who brings a great attitude and strong work ethic to the table.  Also a graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington. 

 

Tim lives in South Carolina with his wife Jen and their dog Markey .  He is an outdoorsman and an avid golfer.  We are grateful to have Tim on our team.  

  Andy DelMoore, Technical Sales

Andy DelMoore joins Spirit Sales Group with 15 years of experience in consultative, Industrial Sales.  He spent a majority of his career with Loctite focusing on value added, solution-based selling to both MRO and OEM customers.  Additionally, Andy, spent several years with Porter-Cable / Black & Decker where he was an integral part of the field training team; training both internal employees and external customers on the proper use of power tools. 

 

Andy is married with 2 children (girl 8 & boy 6). His family likes to spend time vacationing at the beach in Oak Island, NC.  Andy also enjoys woodworking, golfing, BBQ’ing and participating in his kids’ sporting activities.
